Academy of Osseointegration 2011 Annual Session - Table Clinic Presentation

March 2011

Not only did we get to present our poster presentation at this fabulous meeting in Washington DC, we got to meet with almost 20 implant companies that are not yet represented on this site. With their help and enthusiasm for the project, we hope to add more to the database in the near future. We are especially excited about these companies because they represent more of an international market and would help make this a better resource for our colleagues world-wide.

After presenting our poster presentation at the ACP last year, the American Prosthodontic Society asked us to present at their annual meeting. They have a very impressive meeting and we were pleased to participate.

November 2010

We presented our poster presentation on whatimplantisthat.com at the ACP annual meeting in November 2010. The poster won first place in the meeting, and we were able to meet a lot of great people and get some great exposure for the website!

National Association of Dental Laboratories - 2010 WOW Product Winner

American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics - Table Clinic Award of Excellence

February 2010

We presented our website as a poster presentation at the 2010 American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics annual meeting in Chicago. This was the first time we officially launched the site to the public, inviting everyone to see what we've been working on. We were thrilled to find out we won 1st place and received a beautiful plaque.

Whatimplantisthat.com is a free resource to the dental profession. We are in the business of trying to help you identify dental implants through merely looking at your patient's radiographs. You would be surprised at how many unique characteristics implants have that can differentiate them from the thousands of implants out there. Take a good quality x-ray and search through the hundreds of images we have to identify the implant radiographically.

NEW TO THE SITE

Read through this tutorial to better understand how to classify your radiograph. This is where we calibrate you by explaining how we decided whether the implant has a wider flange versus a flared flange.
